Whether you are a parent of a student currently attending our ministry or you are considering visiting, I want you to know that we are on your side.  Thirteen years ago when I got started in youth ministry the pastor that I worked for impressed upon me that the youth pastor must never try to replace the parents in the kids lives.  He used a phrase that has remained with me through the years, he would say over and over, "we as youth workers must always see ourselves as an extension of the parents".  Which means we are here to support you in the exciting yet difficult task
